As you can see, nothing’s changed for the Trans AM...However, seeing that it was sitting idle in the garage most weekdays, I made the decision to trade it in for a 1999 Mazda Miata MX-5 in Nov 2001. Maybe I’ll get back into TAs again in the future. For now, it’s a decision made purely to economize. I bought it for $9500 in March of 1999 and the dealer offered me $9000 as trade for the Miata, which I got for a very reasonable market price. Seeing I was going to sell the TA privately anyway, and I was realistically going to get about $8K, I quikcly signed the deal. I still miss the TA though...
