Family’s trip to South Lake Tahoe in November and December 2001. We took our Grand Cherokee down, but sad that we didn’t get a chance to try 4-wheel driving in the deep snow. It did snow heavily but the 4WD-HI was able to tackle the tasks at hand.  I did experiment putting the transfer case into 4WD-LOW to see what it can do in the snow.

My first time driving in snowy conditions. Our Grand Cherokee took really good care of us. Not once did she slip in the snow, even when overtaking some cars doing 30mph with their chains on.

Me, the adventurous-type (NOT!!!) taking Ania down the slope. On our 1st run, the uncontrollable speed did scare me a little, but I got the hang of it later.

Maria and Ania taking it easy down the slope. Don’t worry!! It wasn’t dangerous.

Ania’s 1st ever skiing lesson. She’s the one in the middle. In fact, 1st ever skiing experience. She took it in stride with the instructor looking over her. Ania was a real “pro” by day’s end.
